On sale now! This is a collection of many traditional Celtic and Canadian Maritime songs that Don and his Dad and Uncles recorded. Several are instrumental, most are uptempo, and they represent the music that Campbells have been sharing around kitchens and porches from New Brunswick, Canada to Southern Maine over the last 3-4 generations. There is also one new original song written and sung by Don, aptly titled, The Old Ways.

Recorded at a live Monday night performance at the beautiful Nonantum Resort in scenic Kennebunkport, Maine, this is a collection of 13 cover songs that we love and licensed to record. From Gordon Lightfoot, the Everly Bros. and Glen Campbell, this is an acoustic project.
Flowerchild with the Blues - CD
A crossover adult contemporary album with elements of pop, folk and a dash of country, the original project was recorded and produced in 1996. Ten years later, this CD was re-released with two bonus tracks, Midnight Lonely Road and Sagan's Lament and with a new jacket of photography and notes about the inspiration for the songs. The most requested song from the CD is Lovers Kind of Moon, a beautiful feel-good song about relationships that stand the test of time. Don wrote it after performing for a 50th wedding anniversary party. Don wrote all of the songs on this project!

Backyard Holiday - CD
This collection was recorded in Nashville, TN and is a favorite with our country music fans. These songs roll along and the collection is great for your drive-time or for enjoying at home. Don wrote all but one of the songs on this disc (a bluegrassy cover of the Thompson Twins' "Hold Me Now").
Faves from this CD include Backyard Holiday, Mr. Bill Gates, and the extremely touching Place Behind the Sun, inspired by hospice workers and a comforting, hopeful song that fans have embraced through the loss of a loved one.

The Mashed Potato Swing - CD
The Mashed Potato Swing is one of our most requested songs at live shows. It's upbeat and happy, an all-ages favorite and a blast to perform. Other popular songs from this collection include Veterans Day, an anthem-like tribute that is also a highly requested song, the ballad Goodnight Kiss, and Mary Ellen. Other notes: Say Goodbye to Heartache was chosen for a compilation disc that was sold to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and the only song that Don did not write on the project is a fun cover of Elton John's Honky Cat!

I Own the Road - CD
In 1999, the Don Campbell Band competed in a slew of Battle of the Bands competitions. They won and won and won, going from their home State of Maine all the way to Nashville, eventually winning BOTH the grand prize in the National Jim Beam Band Search at the Wildhorse Saloon AND the National True Value/Colgate Country Showdown at the Grand Ole Opry. The music from this CD was the soundtrack to victory! The winning songs from the Showdown are Rosalina and Cowboy Kind of Girl. Other favorites are the title track, I Own the Road, Heart of a Tennessee Town, The Girl Next Door and the only cover tune on the disc, a show-stopping, foot-stomping version of U2's Pride.

Higher Ground - CD
17 songs! This was Don's second CD project. Released in 1994, it's got a combination of Celtic-tinged folk, pop and a touch of bluegrass/country. This collection was done in the vein of Dan Fogelberg, John Denver and early Paul Simon, three of Don's writing influences. Favorites include Love is Blind, Gifts of the Day and Take Good Care, a song he wrote as he watched his Uncle Dan prepare to see his youngest daughter, Don's cousin Stacey, be married.
